1. Advantages of Hot in-place recycling
It's a kind of preventative maintenance process, which could renovate damages that unrelated to base course load capacity or pavement structure, such as rutting, crack, decompaction, friction coefficient reduction, asphalt flushing, vertical& horizontal crack, reflection crack, roughness descent, pot hole and stripping, tec.
Comparing to traditional road maintenance ways, hot in-place recycling has a great number of advantages, which reflects on following aspects :
I. Contribute a lot to environmental protection
During maintenance and construction onto asphalt road pavement, by application of asphalthot in-place recycling technology, pollution caused by dust against ambient air would be effectively reduced. Repeated utilization of original road pavement material avoids the pollution to the environment caused by those non-degradable waste material being discarded or buried.
II. Decrease Traffic Congestion
Thanks to much more less required quantity for new material on site comparing to previous maintenance method, trucks' quantity for material transportation would be greatly reduced, consequently, road and traffic occupation caused by construction vehiclec would be obviously reduced. During construction of hot in-place recycling train, based on traffic flow, only limited distance of certain lane is required to close, while other lanes remain normal traffic. In addition, after temperature of treated road pavement surface dropping below 50℃,traffic would be reopened, which would minimize traffic jam caused by closing construct.

Everyday road maintenance lenght could reach at least 2KM for single lane.
