Daily maintenance for cold aggregate ground hopper of hot mixing batch type asphalt plant
The following items are the guide for daily maintenance and check-up.
⑴. Material should be discharged centrally on conveyor and the movement of belt receiving position should be even, straight and centered. If not, find out cause and put right.
⑵. Check the flitch under hopper discharging chute for material overflowing between flitch and belt.
⑶. Check the belt for movement even, straight, and center. If not, adjust the conveyor according to former recommended sequence.
⑷. Check conveyor belt termly, arrange early maintenance to prevent life-shortening and damage-expanding. Use benzene as cleanser and special type glue to conglutinate.
⑸. Check the movement of belt for skid phenomena to avoid premature friction damage.
⑹. Check supporting roller for turning, if there is any question, adjust or replace it to protect belt.
⑺. Check the sweeper for its function. Ensure all sweeper pivot can move freely and not be blocked. Check the scrape-board for its contact with belt, if it contacts belt uneven or brings damage to belt, replace it.
⑻. Lubricate all required bearings and active parts according to prescribed schedule. Clean up bearings termly and inject grease anew but not excessively, this is very important, because excessive grease will lead bearing overheated and wear out early.
⑼. Check reducer for oil level according to manufacturer recommended cycle, make up it with clean oil or give out remainder oil first.
⑽. Try to keep operation condition clean; this is the important to get long serving life and most efficient benefit. All overflowed and splashed material should be cleaned termly.
