1, Base aggregate feeding system
A. general introduction of ground feeding system of aggregate
Cold feeding system is fixed in front of drying, which is used for storing aggregate of different diameters.
Below each hopper, there is separate belt feeder, feeding certain amount of aggregate onto the long belt conveyor under hoppers according to the ratio.
Feeding amount of belt feeder is controlled and adjusted by transducer adjusting motor speed, combining with appropriate opening degree of feeding door.
The hoppers need to be maintained by visual inspection in case of abrasion and damage, once necessary, carry out proper maintenance.
B. Wall vibrator
It's often happened that hopper is difficult to empty wet aggregate or sand, then to install a wall vibrator is necessary to avoid discharging difficulty. The vibrator is a special electromotor, which has eccentric block to generate vibration, and is controlled by time-adjust program. The parameter of vibration is presetted and amplitude-change is not needed to adjust. Please consult to the manuals provided by relevant electromotor manufacturers for details.
Maintenance for cold feeding system of batch type hot mixing asphalt drum plant
a. Usual faults elimination of cold feeding system
⑴. Feeding not freely
Sundries in cold hoppers.
Aggregate is too wet and agglomeration occurs.
Wall vibrator works abnormally.
⑵. Daily maintenance
Grease all bearings according to their cycle. refer to lubrication schedule.
Check belts for abrasion and rupture, and replace them in time.
Belts cannot be polluted with grease or machine oil. Remove any dispersed thing.
Keep driving chains tensioned properly, and lubricate them according to schedule.
Check supporting roller for agility.
