1. Advantages of Hot in-place recycling

It's a kind of preventative maintenance process, which could renovate damages that unrelated to base course load capacity or pavement structure, such as rutting, crack, decompaction, friction coefficient reduction, asphalt flushing, vertical& horizontal crack, reflection crack, roughness descent, pot hole and stripping, tec.

Comparing to traditional road maintenance ways, hot in-place recycling has a great number of advantages, which reflects on following aspects :

①. great cost reduction on highway maintenance

As traditional ways of renovation of asphalt pavement, asphalt mixture would be fully milled off before repaving of new mixture, however, hot in-place recycling technology could make 100% use of original pavement material, only with adding of regenerant and a small quantity of mixture, which saves large sums of materials expenses, transport charge and waste disposal fee, consequently reducing highway maintenance cost and saving engineering cost above 40%.

②. Effective use of irreversible natural resources

Both asphalt binder and aggregate belong to irreversible natural resources. During construction of hot in-place recycler, realization of reusability of above two materials ensures the effective utilization of natural resources.
