I. Normal failures and solution of hot aggregate hoister for batching type hot mix asphalt plant

Bucket type elevator is mainly used for vertical lifting of powder, particle and small block material, which has characteristics of big hoisting height, good sealing effect, small power consumption and wide application area. Bucket type elevator has a wide range of types and Bucket types which meet demands of different working conditions and various materials.

⑴. Fault:Elevator chains are jammed.

Cause ①: Overload; screen cannot sieve correctly, which causes refluence.

Solution: Reduce output, open downside discharging door of elevator to discharge accumulated material. Check buckets for damage, and restart.

Cause ②: Failure appears in screen, or its pores are jammed.

Solution: Check and clean up screen, then restart.

⑵. Fault: Chain escapes from underside idler wheel

Cause ① :The two screws on underside wheel are not equally adjusted.

Solutiont: Readjust the two screws.

Cause ②: The chains are too loose, and the screws are not adequately adjusted.

Solution: Readjust screws. If the adjustment cannot be sufficient, shorten the chains. Refer to the former disassembling method.
